Re: FRIDAY 12/1 @ Food for Thought
Thanks to Ogo and Dallas for setting us up in PDX, was a fun show. Enjoyed the diverse line up highly...

Behalf was amazing, was even better because his soundcheck became a part of the set and it all was highly charged with hate and anticipation. a wonderful explosion laced with the freak silence and loathing. We are going to be doing some splits with Lenny in the near future and I am very very very much looking forward to them!

Du Hexen Hase ruled with one of their best psychedelic freak outs yet....slow dark drone with a dash of krautrockian madness. Ear Venom Brian was a nice addition to the pack as well. A good trance indeed!

Josh Hydeman.....you freak. Loved your set! was an awesome tribute to Lenny! Brutal brutal brutal fits of insane screams and feedback. Thanks for another tantrum!

Redbird was another fav of the eve. Acoustic femail screams, cries, groans and moans. A wonderful presentation of human sound completely unamplified. A real nice treat!

Exquisite Corps started out slow and low. Building slowly the spring drones and pows began to become more prevolent and sincere. Loved the bombstrap pedal belt...just wwished it was louder!

Fawn had some explosive and really nice harsh vocals that I enjoyed, made me think of some primative industrial death march musick...

Society had some neat circuit bending going on and some crazy use of old organ parts

Cult of Zir was a nice opener, dreamy delay vocals with some interesting textural backdrops to explore.

Thanks to all who came out and had a good time!
