[NOISE] Pulse Emitter is a straight-to-the-point noise project. Noise. NOISE. (To think I used to dance around that tag. "Dark ambience"? Jeez.) Because I'm listening to Daryl Groetsch's material through little computer speakers, I'm just going to assume—for safety's sake—that pulses and drones this low in frequency may be enough to shatter bones in person, particularly in the elderly or those otherwise prone to osteoporosis. For the rest of us, it's cold and empty enough to be as dangerous as it is hypnotic—the sort of vibes that make you forget to breathe and pee your shorts. MICHAEL BYRNE.
